Keto Jalepeno Cheese Cornbread
This incredible recipe is so simple to make. Its one of the very best recipes I've created with my mixes!
1 bag Keto Candy Girl Golden sweet pancake mix
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
4oz butter melted
1 cup shredded cheddar (reserve some for top)
2T diced jar jalapeño
5 drops cornbread flavoring (optional)
2 T green onion chopped (optional)
Here's how I did it:
Liberally grease a cast iron skillet or pie plate or 8 x 8 Pyrex. Preheat your oven to 350°F
in a bowl mix together your Keto Candy Girl golden sweet pancake mix, 4 eggs, 4 ounces of melted butter, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk substitute of your choice, 2 tablespoons diced jalapeños, and five drops of cornbread Flavoring. (this ingredient is totally optional if you do not have it your cornbread will still be delicious!)
Now spread all of that delicious batter into your prepared baking dish. Top With the remaining cheddar cheese and diced green onions.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until you smell it! Finish by turning your oven to broil and get the top nice and golden brown (don't walk away during the step or you'll have corn bread flavor and charcoal!)
Remove from the oven and serve with some homemade keto honey butter!
