Keto Game Day Appetizer Sampler
This delicious keto-friendly game day appetizer recipe by @heathercoxzzz is the perfect appetizer for game day! Who doesn't want a keto version of your favorite snacks! Not only does our KetoCandyGirl Golden Sweet Pancake Mix make amazing pancakes/waffles, but they also make amazing coats for a keto-friendly version of pickles and mozzarella sticks.
Here's what she did!
Ingredients:
- 1 whisked egg
- 1/2 cup of Pork King Good Italian Pork Rind Crumbs
- 1/2 cup KetoCandyGirl Golden Sweet Pancake Mix
- Salt
- Pickles
- Mozzarella Sticks
- For the mozzarella sticks and pickles I coated them in whisked egg and a batter of 1/2 a cup of Pork King Good Italian Pork Rind Crumbs and 1/2 a cup of KetoCandyGirl Golden Sweet Pancake Mix. Add a pinch of salt and toss together.
- Fry the pickles well.
- Dip them into the egg and into the pork rind/ pancake mix. Back into the egg then in a final coating of the pork rind/pancake mix. Deep fry in avocado oil till crispy. They do not get dark brown.
